Laying awake at 10:30pm probably doesn't seem like a case of insomnia, but running on 2.5 hours of sleep and consistently working at 4am six mornings out of the week turns anything after 9:30pm into "oh boy, it's gonna be a long night."
I can't explain, sometimes, why I think of things when I do. I always think of clever rhymes when I'm busiest at work. I guess when I'm tired, not using my logical thinking filter, and just letting the thoughts and words flow through my mind, sometimes things fall into place. Most of the time I roll over and try and redirect my thoughts to something sleep related. Sometimes I follow the thread. Tonight, however, I've been opening one word dox after another, typing down a few lines or ideas in each, hopefully to follow up on later.
I don't know where the "inspiration" for this one came from, except perhaps all of the metal I've been listening to in the car and at work. The idea is that everyone has that part of them that is confident, happy, competent, etc, versus the hurt, angry, lonely one that seems to try and sabotage the former from time to time.
Thoughts? Comments?
Perhaps I'll awake at 3am tomorrow and want to delete all 5 dox, who knows ;p
I love her
I hate her
She’ll kill me
I’ll save her
We hold hands
Become her
The circle's
Eternal
Enmity
Internal
Conjoined at the heart
Pumping blood, two toned
Tug of war, one side
Back and forth, back, forth, so
Fucking insane
She’ll drive me insane
If I don’t get to her first
It’s like sunshine and rain
Same time
Insane
